This year’s Barnet Classic Car Show will be held on the Army Reserve site (TA Centre) in St Albans Road instead of on the market and bandstand sites, as before.
The Show will be part of the Army Reserve’s open day on National Armed Forces Day on Saturday, 30th June. The car show will include a parade of the cars at intervals along the High Street from about 10.30 am until 11.10 am, before taking up positions on the Army Reserve site.
There will be more classic cars on display than in previous years. The site itself will be open to the public from 10.00 am until 3.00 pm and as well as the classic cars it will include a display of military vehicles, music from a local group, a refreshment stall in aid of army charities and other stalls too.
The aim of the open day is to provide an entertaining event for all the family while letting local people see something of the activities that take place on the very large St Albans Road site.
